The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announces no "Self Reports" are Required for Responsible Reporting Entities.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have announced in an Alert on January 10, 2012 that all Liability Insurance (Including Self-Insurance), No-Fault Insurance, and Workers' Compensation Responsible Reporting Entities (RREs) are not required to "Self-Report" Ongoing Responsibility for Medicals (ORM) outside of the MMSEA Section 111 reporting process associated with Medicare Set Asides.
